Recruitment Webinar for Military Veterans February 2, 2023
Your Next Mission Awaits!
Join U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on Thursday February 2, 2023, 1900-2100 EST, for a virtual career information webinar.
CBP values the experience, commitment, and discipline that separating service members and veterans bring to the job. That is why CBP is proud to offer rewarding careers and unique benefits to veterans seeking employment with CBP. Roughly a third of CBP’s workforce has served in the military. Joining CBP, you will find many others that share your military background and principles, and a culture of teamwork, integrity, and innovation.
To attend this special evening webinar, click on the link or the APPLY button on this site, which will send you to the registration form where you will provide your name, email address and related information so that you can be contacted by CBP and provided the specific event link.
During the webinar you’ll learn about the various law enforcement and additional administrative support employment opportunities that await you. For example, as a newly appointed Border Patrol Agent you will be offered a $10,000 recruitment incentive upon successful completion of the required formal training at the USBP academy. Additionally, new Agents accepting one of the hard to fill locations will be eligible for an additional $10,000 recruitment incentive (for a total of $20,000). Some conditions apply.
Find out if you qualify for other opportunities including Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO) positions. Our CBPOs safeguard our country from threats and facilitate the flow of legitimate trade and travel as a member of the Office of Field Operations. CBP Officers are valued members of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
By continuing employment with the federal government, veterans joining CBP may also be eligible to count their time in the military towards CBP retirement and leave accrual and may be eligible to receive a GI-Bill monthly housing allowance benefit for on-the-job training.
Register now by clicking on this site’s Apply link so you won’t miss the opportunity to attend our February 2nd webinar.
