Works under the guidance of analytic architects and business subject matter experts to develop and maintain SQL queries and reporting data sets, respond to ad-hoc data requests, and develop reporting visualizations using modern business intelligence tools.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Write moderately complex SQL queries under the guidance of architects and subject mater experts.
• Develop reporting dashboards based on provided wireframes.
• Handle administration of reporting refreshes.
• Respond to ad-hoc data requests with timely and accurate data outputs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, data or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics and reporting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with big data.
• Demonstrated knowledge of database concepts and experience working with both structured and non-structured big data sets
• Proficiency in SQL with the ability to understand existing queries and write new queries of moderate complexity
• Demonstrated knowledge of developing reporting dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, Amazon Quicksight, Amazon Redshift, SAS Viya, or other similar tools
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to understand data and reporting needs and deliver solutions
