Ledgent Finance & Accounting is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client's growing team in California. This role offers a hybrid work environment, requiring one day in the office, and is ideal for candidates residing in the East Bay Area. Responsibilities:

• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, focusing primarily on accounts payable.
• Manage general ledger activities and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure compliance with established accounting standards.
• Apply strong knowledge of GAAP to ensure financial integrity and compliance.
• Utilize intermediate Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
• Operate within an ERP system to manage accounting tasks efficiently.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles.

Monday - Friday

Salary:

The position offers a salary range of $68,000 to $72,000 per year, depending on experience.
