This is a position with WM Technologies, LLC and affiliate of SPX Enterprises, LLC, which manufactures and sells Weil-McLain branded products. Weil-McLain is a leading North American brand of hydronic comfort heating systems for residential, commercial, and institutional buildings since 1881. Position Responsibilities: - Assembles cast iron section to relatively large or heavy subassemblies and complete units.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Stop the line due to Safety or Quality.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Maintain area cleanliness in accordance with 5S principles.
- Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble block units according to product specifications.
The most qualified candidates will demonstrate the following: - May required a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- May require 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Must qualify on at least one task and the upstream and downstream tasks.
- Must be able to use air/battery operated tools, lifting devices, and calibrated tools.
- Follows standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Must have excellent attendance record.
