Associate Laboratory Assistant at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This position has multiple openings such as Full-time, Part-time and per-diem and will work 8-hour, day, night, evening and variable shifts.

Under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy and Specimen Processing Supervisor, the Clinical Lab Assistant I performs routine non-technical, manual, and a moderate amount of technical work in the medical laboratory. Maintains laboratory areas and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. Carries out related tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED



• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License upon hire. Or



• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous laboratory, medical office or hospital experience is desirable.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
