This role involves implementing and delivering training to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain the our highly sophisticated Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision products. Applicants should have proven experience working with sophisticated optical and electromechanical systems. This role will also support the development and maintenance of service training documentation and training program curriculum for assigned product(s). You will additional support our on-market Global Product Engineering team with Service related support tasks for pilot projects and new product introduction (NPI) activities of the department.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b>:</p><ul><li><p><b>Design and deliver global training programs</b> (basic to advanced) covering technical, safety, product knowledge, and certification.</p></li><li><p><b>Conduct training sessions</b> at AMO centers, off-site locations, and customer sites as directed.</p></li><li><p><b>Develop and maintain service training curriculums and aids</b> for new products and updates to on-market products.</p></li><li><p><b>Provide written and verbal communication</b> including evaluations, feedback, and status reports to management.</p></li><li><p><b>Lead trainees through technical and business issues</b> and provide “train-the-trainer” knowledge transfer when applicable.</p></li><li><p><b>Identify and address training gaps</b> and audit practices to ensure compliance.</p></li><li><p><b>Collaborate with engineering teams</b> on pilot projects and proof-of-principles for service launch readiness.</p></li><li><p><b>Support service-related verification and validation processes</b> ensuring compliance with quality standards.</p></li><li><p><b>Assist with service documentation updates</b> including new requirements, change orders, and maintenance for on-market products.</p></li><li><p><b>Support on-market product improvements and field actions</b> as assigned by the department.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Qualifications</p><p>Required:</p><ul><li><p><b>Education: </b>Vocational, Certificate, Technical or Associates</p></li><li><p><b>Field Experience:</b> Required <b>3–5+ years</b> of hands-on experience working in or supporting Field Service in a relevant sector (medical devices, capital equipment)</p></li><li><p><b>Strong communication skills:</b> The ability to articulate and demonstrate complex technical procedures physically and explain technical terms using simple language in a classroom environment.</p></li><li><p><b>Self-Starter:</b> A can-do demeanor and strong work ethic.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Preferred:</p><ul><li><p>Hands-on experience with medical devices containing electromechanical and electro-optical systems.</p></li><li><p>Experience in developing technical course content using MS PowerPoint or other learning development platforms, modern training techniques and tools.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of instructional design to implement and complete full training cycles (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate).</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to evaluate Field Service training needs, find gaps and to develop and deliver effective training programs that enhance overall learning outcomes.</p></li><li><p>Strong cross-functional collaborator, able to build training content within a cross-functional team of service, R&D and quality.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Other:</b></p><ul><li><p>Good interpersonal skills, dependable, results driven, timely decision making</p></li><li><p>Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint</p></li><li><p>Language Requirement: English</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
