Hey guys! Thanks for checking out my Kickstarter project and don’t forget to check the updates page to get the latest news on The Paradox.
The Paradox allows you to convert your iPod Nano into one of the most powerful watches in our current era of timepieces. The goal of this project was to design a contemporary conversion kit, keeping style and functionally in mind.
I ended up with a stunning case -- engineered from high-grade stainless steel (SUS 316) -- that completely encloses the iPod Nano in industrial-design fashion.
The Paradox, embedded with external buttons that provide great user feedback, features interchangeable straps and comes in either a stainless steel / black stainless steel finish.
What’s more, the Paradox’s patent pending design has a stainless steel flap that allows easy access to the 30-pin dock connector and protects it from dust and debris.
What does The Paradox kit include?
Each kit includes a serialized -- Kickstarter backers exclusive -- Paradox in your choice of brushed stainless steel or brushed black stainless steel and includes high-quality rubber silicone straps, a set of screwdrivers and a spare set of screws.
The limited edition Titanium Paradox -- only 299 ever to be manufactured -- includes everything in the standard kit plus a genuine leather strap. And don’t worry; these will also be serialized, separate from the Steel Paradox.
What are the shipping charges?
United States- Free Shipping to backers at all levels
Canada - Add $10 to your pledge at the $20 and above
Worldwide – Add $10 to your pledge at the $20 pledge Level and $15 for any level above.
What will be engraved on the back?
The text engraved on the back has not been finalized yet but my initial idea has the following engraved on the back:
“Cupertino Movement”
“All Geek Everything”
“Kickstarter Backer”
“Serial Number”
Cupertino Movement will be engraved on the back because Apple’s headquarters is based in Cupertino, CA. With the Nano being the internals of this watch its movement is not Swiss or Japan, but Cupertino.
