Why diversity in the workspace is important? Everybody is bragging about diversity important, but what is the real reason it is important?
On my opinion, when, say, the engineering team is diverse, comprised of people from different cultures and backgrounds, those people have different ways, or rather algorithms of thinking, and their ways thinking can compliment each other. If one of the engineers is trying one way of problem solving and get stock, they other engineer from different culture will offer a different way and it is easier to solve the problem this way. But if two of them are of the same culture, their way of thinking is the same and if one of them gets stock, the second one won't be able, possibly, to apply a different algorithm of thinking
