Rutgers has a lot to offer for students looking to start their own ventures. As a materials science and engineering student at Rutgers, I often thought about how my skills could be put to use in an established company that already has the resources for sales and research. Taking Introduction to Entrepreneurship, exploring associations for entrepreneurs, and networking with other young entrepreneurs, as well as professors, who have started successful ventures has broadened my perspective concerning business opportunities. This independent spirit is a special part of Rutgers University. I encourage other students to foster their ambitions and explore the resources Rutgers has to offer.
