There are millions of foreign students wanting to pursue their entrepreneurship dream in USA but are not able do it because of their immigration status. At my internship last summer I got opportunity to meet with Yuxuan Lin. Born and raised in China, Yuxuan came to US in 2014.Despite being an international student Yuxuan never stopped his entrepreneurship dream. He is a founder of chu hu and Orybii. I had privilege to interview him and here is the memo of my interview.
What is the quality of successful entrepreneur?
“Curiosity, most entrepreneurs I have seen and read about want to do something good to the society. Entrepreneurs that fails are the one who chase for the money. In my point of view that definition of an entrepreneur is the person who wants to change the world by solving the worlds problem. If you want to earn money then you are referred as a business man not entrepreneur”
How do you manage time between your family, full time job and startup?
" It all about the effort you put in. We are used to making excuses but if you want to achieve something then you have to go beyond the limit. You have to dig in the worst case scenarios and get used to it. Changing the world is not easy but to those who are scared to fail I want to say every step you climb it’s worth the time”
Any suggestions to people thinking of startup’s?
“Believe in yourself, make sure you are on top of paper works. Keep in mind ideas are worthless until you execute it.”
