So many people expect things to just happen. They pray when things go bad not when things are good. They blame others when things don't happen. Wake Up! You are the one that is not getting things done. American Society has made it hard for us black people to succeed but all that means is that we need to step our game up. Right now I am a struggling colleges student. Things are not as great as they can be but I am not letting that stop me from continuing my education. I will be that journalist and that lawyer someday. When that day comes I know I will be proud that I did it on my own. I just thank Allah everyday that I am here in this world. I try to make the most of what I have and not get wrapped up in materialistic things like I used to. There is more to life than clothing and nice accessories. Focus on you and nobody else.
